Allemande

Allemande - fr. allemand – "German". Dance 16–18 centuries as follows from its name – a German origin. Similarly to pavan, allemande represents dance in the moderate rate and bipartite the size. This quiet dance usually followed recovered trilobate grinder. In claviern 18 century allemande cost to a suite on the first place; for it follow grinder, a saraband and jig. In the end 18 century allemande « German dance » at a rate of 3/4 or 3/8 – the predecessor of a waltz referred to. The general instructions: as a whole dance reminds moving figures to a musical casket. A maximum of grace, ease and lightness. The gentleman sets a direction of change of figures. Lady follows submission of the gentleman, but thus it cannot be absolutely passive – its problem easily to react to changes of a direction of movement, keeping grace of a porcelain figurine. Sharpness and "clumsiness" of movements are absolutely excluded.
